Recently, a young 8 year old girl, who was watching horses, was abducted and held inside a house for several days. Her body was later found. Police say she has been taken to a temple, where she had been raped multiple times and then killed. Although some do believe that the 8 men committed the murder, others believe, with all the corruption in the police system, that this was a plot against the Hindu people. An anti-Hindu plot. A local Muslim. has started to take his 3 children and two cousins to school, instead of having them go on their own out of fear of danger for them. Other people in the town say that anyone could be mobbed by other hindu gangs. This just shows, with the conspiracies, that there is a massive problem with the justice system and the police system. Although there still is the problem within the culture that makes men feel as if they own women is some sort of way, in this case sexually. It is more of a religious and societal problem, but one that should still be taken care of in India.
