The other day there was a helicopter crash in Nepal, and it killed 7 including a tourism minister. The minister was an activist for repairing pour airports in more remote areas of Nepal. This issue hit its peak when over 50 people were killed in a malaysian airline crash in Nepal last year. There have been several other crashes in Nepal due to the airports and It’s time for a change. The minister gave his life for is cause, and I think that could be a driving force to pressure the Government to help repair these airports and make them safe so more people don’t lose their lives. Tourism can be very important for a countries income and you are gonna lose that if people don’t feel safe traveling to your country. I think out of all the issues revolving around Nepal this is up there. In america we rarely worry about airports not being safe so it’s kinda hard to look at the lack of safety and to feel that fear of dying. either way I hope they resolve these problem soon because I don’t want to see any more deaths from airports being in poor condition.
