Many Afghan civilians were killed and wounded during a ceasefire between them and the Taliban. There really is not much to say here because it is self explanatory. With the withdrawal of foreign troops, Afgan is having trouble asserting dominance over Taliban, which is seen by them literally ignoring a 3 DAY CEASEFIRE, like come on, how defunct do you have to be to let this happen. The increasing presence of Taliban is concerning and I believe it will result in a complete takeover before 2024. While the Afghan security forces say they are able to handle the situation, it sure doesn’t seem like it. This conflict of ideas does not need to be discussed because of how much it has been in the news. Biden is personally responsible for every civilian that dies because he does not care for the people there. While it is not Bidens fault for the Taliban spreading to other countries, he should have left with a peace deal, since it looks like we are retreating. I read taliban were trying to turn Bangladesh into an islamic state and it has failed so far, but that can not happen in Afghanistan because they do not have the power to support their claim to power.
