Afghanistan and Pakistan have been in a constant open war conflict that originally led to a peace agreement that occurred in China as of late April. Since these peace agreements, Pakistan has continued to send attacks with their latest targeting of an Afghan university. Pakistan denies these allegations that they would target a university while also placing their own allegations on Afghanistan, which is that Afghanistan is harboring militants that carry out illegal acts of harm inside of Pakistan such as the TTP (Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan). Afghanistan believed that their talks with the Pakistani government went well and did not expect this backstabbing.

In my opinion, and my experience of creating blog posts this year. Never trust a peace agreement. When your nations have that much troubled history I find its ok to make these peace agreements for your people but don’t go to the press saying that you did not expect this backstabbing, because whether you like it or not we live in a realist world where ever action made by a state is to benefit themselves, and in the national interest of Pakistan, sending attacks on Afghan universities was a way to benefit their national interests.

If I am the Afghanistan government, I wouldn’t instigate any farther than they are, the same goes for the Pakistani government. If they keep going attack for attack both will end up hurting and lose any progress that they’re making in development and technology. The Afghani and Pakistani people will also not be too happy with their governments if they start to feel safe because of the agreement reached just to feel unsafe again because their leaders seem trigger happy.

This article relates to stakeholder legitimacy because as I mentioned in the third paragraph, the Pakistani people and the Afghani people are not going to hold their government high when they are putting them in danger for what looks like a very bad reason to a citizen. Pakistan is also democratic meaning they have elections and this could be a bad look for the Pakistani leader come 2029.
