Honduras gangs rule Honduras causing it to be one of the most violent countries in the world. This country is ruled by gangs rather than the government, security and laws which needs to stop.
Families are forced to leave their homes when a gang comes and threatens them. Those who have been uprooted by a gang say that the gangs gives them two options: stay and be killed or leave. As a result the families opt to leave, therefore setting up the gangs to continue with this chain of violence.
This problem seems like a never ending one. No families are going to stay because they do not want to die, therefore they give the gang exaclty what they want.
The families do not look torwards the government for help and thats why this is such an issue. A hands off governement will not be able to solve this and the governement is putting the people of Honduras in danger.
It is hard to know exaclty what the government should do, but first off they need to place more military officers and police in the neighborhoods. It needs to be set up so that the gangs cannot just uproot thousands of people.
