I personally am very happy for Colombia and their achievement of this bust. The drug problem in Colombia has been out of hand for the past few years. Colombia has the highest percentage of drug users in the world along with one of the highest percentages for having it in their countries and with dealers and users. This drug bust of 12 tons is fantastic, especially that it came from the top drug gang in the country. I am highly opposed to drug use, except for prescriptions, so this bust feels great because at least those drugs can be disposed of properly and not snorted up some person’s nose. Colombia should be very proud of themselves with this. Without the determination of those soldiers to attempt to stop drug trade from Colombia and Panama, then this bust would’ve never had happened.
