This event has gained a lot of traction on social media with people reacting to the president downing the empanada. The video shows Maduro looking around and then pulling said pastry from a drawer right beside him. The economic crisis the country is facing has led to many people even doctors to become prostitutes. The health crisis has led to many people leaving the country and possibly spreading disease to neighboring countries, making other countries at risk as well. With Maduro as president it seems like the country is not going climb out of its economic crisis.
