Donald Trump has pulled the U.S out of the Global Compact on Migration because it is “inconsistant”. The U.S. ambassador saying that “immigration policies must always be made by Americans and Americans alone.” She also mentioned that it “isn’t compatible with U.S. sovereignty” I feel, that by pulling out of this agreement, we aren’t helping other countries the most we can. There are a lot of people fleeing countries who could be benefitted from entry in the U.S. I also think that as long as we continue to help people, being able to make our own rules and regulations will benefit the U.S. greatly.
