For this round of region reports, I read an article about Mr. Bailey’s true homeland, Canada, and a dispute they had with Chinese tech company, Huawei Technologies Co Ltd. Huawei had been supplying Canada with equipment for 5G networks, the newest generation of cellular communication. Ottawa’s government however banned Huawei from sending equipment due to the company having a past of security issues and the city’s government not willing to potentially compromise the privacy of its citizens.

I am very much in favor of Ottawa’s decision to ban Huawei Tech from dealing in Canada. I feel this way because in today’s age of technology it feels that our private information becomes less private by the day and it is nice to know that Canada’s government is willing to stand up for their people in this way. Of course, the United States government is very obviously spying on us and likely consist exclusively of lizard people that are the cause of global warming, but clearly that is not the case in Canada. Especially with the controversial history surrounding Huawei Tech, this feels like a move that will be widely popular amongst the citizens of Canada. Not that Mr Bailey cares though because they stole his game gear and they deserved to be spied on.
