Analysis On Venezuela Part 2

As the weeks move on since the United States first took action against the Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s dictatorship rule, the country is descending deeper and deeper into chaos and closer to a violent removal of Maduro’s rule. With Maduro refusing to step down for country, but a country full of starving people that are being neglected by their government (who is refusing outside aid that would ensure the safety of their citizens), it will not be much longer until something violent happens.

While currently President Maduro has the backing of the military, who he has deployed at the border to stop humanitarian aid from entering the country, the self-proclaimed interim president Juan Guaido’s appointed representative to the US said that he predicts that this will soon change. He says that they will soon realize that the current President has nothing to give, and that the aid is going to help their country and their people recover from the economic and social trials they have had recently.

However since they are still on the side of current President Maduro, the countries problems still continue. Interim President Guaido recently had invited a group of lawmakers from the European Union, but President Maduro has barred their entry to the country. President Maduro is claiming that these are the moves of a coup staged by these outside countries, and that they need to leave the country to their own means and let him “lead” his country. Both the Russian and Chinese governments who back Maduro have said that these countries need to stop meddling in other countries governements (pretty ironic). This move to bar these EU lawmakers from entering has upset Guadio, who took to twitter shortly after these events, said that they were deported by a regime who is getting more and more irrational.

My take on this is that it will not be too much longer before these outside countries make a move to free the Venezuelan people from their oppressive government, and forcefully remove Maduro themselves.
