The issue of domestic migration
Domestic migration is the issue of a movement of people within a country, often for educational, economic reasons. Can be due to natural disasters or conflict. Spain had a lot of internal migration after the 2008 economic crisis this movement also led to a lack of employment in many areas. This caused unemployment to increase. It is important to regulate migration to expand the area of economic prosperity within the country and to not allow overcrowding.
Economic and social effects of global warming
Global warming is the long term rise of temperature, it is believed to either be caused by human action or natural phenomenons. Spain has made efforts to combat global warming, following a UN movement. Spain has pledged to cut greenhouse gases by 20% by the year 2030. Teresa Ribera, the socialist minister in charge of of environmental affairs is helping to incite change within the country with new legislation. The Spanish Climate Change and Clean Energy Strategy and the Spanish Sustainable Development Strategy are pieces of spanish legislation on global warming. Spain must take steps toward reducing their emissions in order to participate in a global movement towards decreasing pollution and global warming. By increasing public awareness on the effects of pollutions and create legislation that will require businesses to regulate their emissions Spain will be able to accomplish this.
Eliminating corruption in international sports
Corruption in sports is mainly match fixing. Teams choose prior to a game which team will win in order to earn more money for the league. This has caused a lot of international sports conflicts. Spain was almost not allowed to be in the last FIFA World Cup after being accused of sports corruption. However, Spain has taken steps toward ameliorating this situation. Sports are a international affair where teams can come together and compete man to man. They are not meant to be about who makes the most money. They are a test on human strength. Countries need to come together to promote a fair and authentic sporting environment.
