Japan’s Government is rethinking its approach to the North Korean Missile Crisis after the recent missile launches over their country. Multiple political leaders are debating multiple strategies to deal with the situation. One option which has been favored by a majority is the idea of re militarizing the Japanese naval defenses. This decision has been scrutinized by multiple American authorities for its idea of re militarizing a former adversary. However, the decision has been supported by a majority because of our strong political connection and need for defenses of the Japanese mainland. I think that it is more than necessary to begin to re militarize their defenses. Furthermore, I believe it is more than necessary for the United States to render aide to the Japanese government in their efforts to increase their defensive and military strength in preparation for a possible confrontation. Multiple approaches are still being debated as the situation continues to escalate but the question still remains for the Japanese authorities of how they should begin to prepare to defend their nation.
