The Sky Ocean Rescue Campaign is a great thing to be involved with. I truly hope that the companies that are mentioned– Adidas, Coca-Cola, Dell, etc.– will try to start the same thing in other countries. Like America for instance, I know that we have a large percentage of not only plastic waste, but of other waste as well. I am hoping that this program will catch on so that we can save our own rivers and reduce our litter levels. The Paris decision to build bulletproof walls around the Eiffel Tower is a wise one. It is a large attraction that people come from around the world to see. I appreciate the fact that they are taking the other visitors safety into account. Especially since the terrorism threat hasn’t really lowered since the 10th anniversary of September 11th. The French win over Scotland in soccer is a good thing. To be honest, France has been through a lot of crap lately, and to win against Scotland in the Six Nations on Sunday truly is a positive note for the country. Poland purchased over 86 thousand pieces of art, including pieces from Leonardo da Vinci. One of them is a rare painting of a woman. Da Vinci only painted four portraits of women. This is huge because, as an art enthusiast, we can have a better understanding of the art during that time period. We can see the type of styles, the type of lives, that those artists used or had.
