In France they are deciding to make rubber bullets illegal or not. I find this very interesting because, one, I didn’t know that rubber bullets were even a thing before reading this article. And two, because I find it interesting that they were allowed in the first place if they are being attempted to be banned now in today’s world. The rubber bullets have been being used on the protesters, possibly the yellow jackets, by the anti government protesters. I think that this is a very good decision, because the rubber bullets have caused numerous injuries to the protesters in France and all over the European Union.
Once again we are still stuck on the Brexit deal with British Prime Minister Theresa May. They decided not to vote again right away, so they are voting on March twelve. I find the Brexit situation almost annoying at this point because I think that at this point if Brexit has not passed, will it ever? I personally feel that it is in the European Union’s best interest to keep Britain in the European Union. I think this is best because of the economic support Britain provides for the country, as well as because of the political stability of the state of Britain…which is debatable I guess with the entire Prime Minister Theresa May brexit extended situation it can be questioned, but over all they are politically stable. I think the biggest support of the states is the economic side which includes trade and monetary processes.
Another article I read this regional report was the article about the Arab and European Union first time meet. The journalists think that this could lead to the protection and agreements with Russia and China. I think this is also an interesting concept to tie the U.S. into because the European Union is allies with the United States.
