Russia has started to increase its attacks on ports in the Black Sea which has started to decrease the amount of food that can reach Palestinians. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said in a press conference that these indiscriminate strikes on ports in the Black Sea have shown that Putin is willing to gamble food security in the world in attempting to get Ukraine to submit. 6 civilian vessels have been damaged and the ramp-up in strikes has been “distressing”. Starmer also stated that Putian is harming millions of vulnerable people in parts of Africa, Asia and the Middle East just so he can get the upper hand in his barbaric war.

It makes sense that Russia is trying to stop Ukrainian grain from being shipped and sold to ports around the Black Sea because Ukraine is a huge producer of grain by exporting about 6 million tons of it per month in 2020 before the invasion. Due to this grain is a huge and crucial source of revenue for the country. These actions that are being performed by Russia have also exposed the drastic and barbaric measures that Vladimir Putin will go to just for the chance that Ukraine will submit to their invasion and end the conflicts. I just don’t understand why Putin has decided to negatively affect people who have nothing to do with their invasion.

The Palestinian government will be very upset with the attacks on the ports in the Black Sea because they are not receiving the food and aid that they need. They would most likely get their allies involved and try to get them to send them more aid or request them to allocate more soldiers to defend the ports so the grain shipments can make it and they can be supplied. Russia will most likely keep up the attacks because Ukraine and the rest of the world will have to focus their attention to try and find a solution to keep a steady supply of food and aid to the Palestinians who need it.

Russia is starting to lose power so Putin decided to decrease the power in other countries involved because it would be harder for them to gain more power because they aren’t getting as much support as Ukraine so Putin came to the conclusion to decrease the food supply in other countries like Palestine so the world has to send more help to them and as a result of that Ukraine will also start to see a decrease in supplies and aid. In some ways this a good move by Putin because he knows that he will never receive the same amount of aid that Ukraine is receiving so the decision to limit their support is not a very bad idea.
