Turning away from the Middle East and looking at North Africa we will find Morocco, which is in a pretty tough situation as they will be holding an election where the Authenticity and Modernity party (PAM), and the Justice and Democracy party (PJD) will be fighting for the spot of prime minister. Many Moroccans are dissatisfied with what both party’s are offering and our planning on snubbing the election as they did in 2008 and 2012, just like how a lot of Americans plan on staying home during the 2016 election. This could spell trouble for the country as they do need a leader or the country could turn chaotic like Afghanistan did with the Taliban.

Back in the Middle East we will find Syria, which has been in the midst of a bloody civil war that has killed hundreds of thousands of people. The United States and Russia, for a while, were in the midst of diplomatic talks to figure out a solution to end the conflict. Both sides have decided to end the talks because of actions that both sides have deemed hostile. It’s very funny to think that two countries who have not gotten along since the late 1940’s could possibly work together. So in the end it seems like the bloody conflict will continue on and on with no solution in sight.
