Simulation Reflection

In this Simulation, I had the role of representative and worked on negotiating, compromising, and resolving conflicts along my team. I took notes on the deals, agreements, our goals in priority order that was best for the U.S, and any other points and negotiations other countries made. I felt that we had A country full of resources and advantages so I get confident with achieving our goals, however other dominant countries had very interesting negotiations and things they wanted which created many obstacles and conflicts. I feel that at the end, we can say we got a lot of our goals achieved even if negotiations were made for others intrest, and it took long but the final write up of the agreement somehow benefited everyone that was participating. What I most enjoyed was seeing how passionate and hardworking everyone was, and how everyone was walking around the room trying to negotiate with others and offer deals. We struggled with not knowing some of the information for our countries when making deals and using resources, for example the amount of money or budget that we had, and the economic status of the countries. Also I feel like that the amount of information given at the beginning  of the simulation could be changed to give more background about each country. Overall I got to experience negitionating among all these countries and how difficult it could be and how many steps it would take. I realized that it takes mostly everyone agreeing on the simplest details for a change to be made and how so much effort is put into all the nagitioating and prioritizing the goals for the country at the same time.
