In this article multiple israeli missiles fired South of Syrian town of Damascus causing structural damages. This missile strike is the second launched just this month by Israel that was aimed at targeting a Syrian army post. Israel rarely acknowledges these acts and works to prevent enemy Iran from having presence in Syria. As a result Israeli families are being forced to move from their homes as more and more military drills take place, many of these families are forced to be homelessness while they are force from their homes as there is nowhere else to go.
An important aspect in this article is the relationship between Syria and Israel. For example sine the Syrian war in 2011, attack routines and air raids have been nothing but new between the two neighboring powers. Around this time Israel’s explanation for the attacks seemed to be “If they attack us we attack them.” Over the past decade Israel has seemed to have a pattern of staying silent on their choices to attack war torn Syria. In the long run with Israel’s GDP almost surpassing Syria’s by 10x the amount, I think it is more than likely that Israel will continue to overpower Syria limiting their capabilities (not looking at each powers alliances).
This article relates to diplomatic relations between powers and how they formed to be that way. For example Syria is apart of the Arab League of Nations in which they choose to not recognize Israel and instead boycott the country. Despite this some crossover still ensues for example both countries allow VERY limited trade between each other (specifically within the Golan Drue village which is located in the ceasefire area).
