The US has failed to reach a phone call conference with Saudi and UAE crown princes in recent weeks. This comes after the invasion of Ukraine by Russia and the high rise in oil and gas prices. The rejection comes after Saudi and Emirati officials criticized US policy in the Gulf recently. Both countries are concerned over Iran’s current nuclear deal, and are also concerned over US response to missile attacks in Yemen.
This response by the UAE and Saudi Arabia has more of impacts on the USA than any other country involved. Gas prices have exploded in price since Russia’s invasion, leaving US citizens paying $5, $6, 7$ dollars per gallon. Biden called the Saudis and UAE trying to find a solution to pain at the pump, but they wouldn’t take the call over his recent policy decisions in the middle east. This has effects on gas and oil prices globally, as all eyes turn to the middle east for oil during these sanctions on Russia. It also has an effect on the future between the Biden Admin and the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
This article deals with foreign policy. Biden’s foreign policy decisions sanctioned Russia heavily, which now has effects on oil prices along with the Ukrainian invasion. It also deals with foreign policy because the UAE and Saudi Arabia wouldn’t pick up the phone to talk with Biden because of his foreign policy decisions in Yemen and Iran’s nuclear program that Biden has been loosely paying attention to. These issues between these 3 countries all are based around foreign policy decisions that then have effects on the global market with things like oil and natural gas.
