I have to start out by saying I’m glad this is my last Sub Saharan Africa post. Well I’m not glad i guess its kind of bitter sweet. I really want to take this time to say that even though I did not keeping up with this region at all. I have learned to respect it and understand the area. I won’t sit here and say i was completely wrong on my initial blind thoughts on the region, but I was definitely over critical. The most important thing I learned about this region after 5-6 weeks is; This area of the world isn’t just a crap hole for no reason, and its more than just a bunch of under developed countries. Its a whole continent trying to catch up with a extremely modern and high tech world. Even though there is loads corruption, war, and all the bad stuff. There are still a lot of people trying to do the best and not only make their own county a better place to live but also make africa as a whole a better place to live. So after keeping up to date with this region I have gained some respect for it, and I truly hope I get to live to see this place grow a develop and cherish.
