The collapse in the mines is very tragic because not only are 5 people dead, but they are still looking for survivors or even more dead. But the volunteers looking for the rest are not specialized in search parties, and they have no special equipment to help them, they are digging through the rubble with their bare hands. The mine was located in a huge spot where gold is found so I would guess that there would be more help coming and aid being supplied to help find the survivors and get the mine running again. There is no help being sent to the volunteers or any aid at all being sent to any of the survivors and their families. Liberia is already a country that is struggling economically, so with the collapse of this mine and the loss of economic profit that comes with it, there should be more of a global help.
