President-elect Donald Trump already questioned a meeting with intelligence officials regarding Russian hacking and openly stated that America needs to “move one” and forget that a foreign country deliberately interfered in our electoral process.  Now Trump has set yet another precedent, choosing to take the word of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange over that of the United States intelligence community.  There are, at this point, a nearly infinite number of criticisms one can level at the president-elect, but I wish to ask one simple question: Will the insanity ever end?  A man who would trivialize a nuclear arms race with one of the most powerful nations in the world is a fool.  A president who sides with a dictator over America is a traitor.  He ran on “Make America Great Again,” but so far all Donald Trump has done is make America more endangered.  Now more than ever, we need a president who will stand up to Russia and keep Putin in his box.  By refusing to acknowledge Russia’s hacking, Trump has allowed himself to operate completely contrary to the platform that won him the presidency.  Furthermore, he sent a message to the world that our enemies can do whatever they please so long as no airplanes are flown into our buildings.  Is this nation so far gone that such a standard is acceptable?
