Net neutrality has become a large debate recently in the U.S., the threat that people may have to pay separate prices for each online application they use seems tedious and costly. India, an area people usually look over, is being progressive in adopting a strong net neutrality stance. Their enormous population and increasing technology and industry should prove interesting while we observe how net neutrality works for them. Being the leader of net neutrality may make way to India growing their influential power in other ways.

Central Asia may also be advancing with green projects, promoted by the EU. The upcoming industrialization of Central Asia could result in pollution and disregard for the planet, but these projects could keep Central Asia clean, respectable, and increase their wealth. Adding the Central Asian countries into treaties and agreements further hardens a blow against the U.S. Not only has the U.S. had doubts about the Paris Climate Agreement, but have also been internally focused resulting in the global arena loosing respect for the power house and looking elsewhere to add to treaties and agreements. I think Central Asia will be the up and coming area in terms of economic and social growth.
