In Afghanistan, it has been reported that a truck bomb was set off in the Provinve apital of Pul-e Alam, and unfurtunallty wounded 90 poeple and killing 20. This bomb struk at a guest house, and the death toll could possibly rise. “In Afghanistan, guest houses are lodgings often provided for free by the government, usually for the poor, travellers and students.”The cause or who did this is unkown. However, a possible option is the Talliban, whihc is a known terriosts group inAfghinstan that was also most widley known for responsible of the 9-11 attack. This could possibly be because of the United States pulling the troops and NATO removing itself from assiting the Afghan goverment. “The Taliban, who had demanded that all US troops pull out of Afghanistan by May 1, have not offered any guarantees for the safety of the departing troops.” It is important to know that the causulties were manily hihgschoolers that were studying, but also pro-goverment militia members.
Why exacly is this so concerning? The reason on why this is so concerning is that normally when a terrosit group does something or acts on it they almost always claim that they do it because in there eyes it is a victory that they can use over the ‘enemy’, but also use it to reruit in more individuals, showing the mening of power in there eyes. However, no one has claimed responsibulity, and it is slighlty ironic how the high schoolers were pro goverment and terrosit groups are anything but the complete opposite of that. I beleive that Afhginsitan goverment needs to take charge, and if not than it could be detromental to the Afghan people on the dangers from the terriosts groups with unlimited power. In the citys there needs to be more security, checking trucks for bombs, providing more police fore, gates in communities, bomb shelters, and more resouces on self defense. They also need to fight off the teroist groups, which is obviosily easier said then done, but with no action being taken it shows at a very strong weakness, alowing the terroistsgorups to roam freely.
