Cameroon’s far north region, on the border with nigeria, is facing a rise in suicide bombings blamed on Boko Haram extremists. To deal with these attacks, Cameroon is digging a series of trenches more than 100 kilometers long along the border. These extremists have claimed more than 400 lives since april. This trench also prevents hostages or kidnappings from crossing over the border. Some of these suicide bombers are even children, one boy named Aba had a bomb on him, without him knowing. These bombings continue to threaten the people of cameroon and will continue to be prevented as much as possible.
