The South African National Prosecuting authority have appealed against the high court ruling made in April of 2016. The ruling said he breached the country’s constitution by refusing to repay government money spent on his private home. He was accused of corruption many times. He had three options to deal with the situation. Resign, which was highly unlikely, the president is known to not give up easily. Impeachment, which the Democratic Alliance have already placed on him. Although the group would need a 2/3 vote while they only have 83 representatives among the 400 total in Congress. The last option, if impeachment fails, would be for the DA to call for a motion of No-Confidence. This means the president would lose all benefits of his office. But through all this Zuma keeps insisting that he has done no wrongdoing. It will be up to Congress and the court system to bring justice upon the South African president.
