Madagascars increasingly worse plague

In modern times sickness has the ability to be treated depending on the severity of the disease. In this case, unfortunately, it is getting harder and harder to vaccinate and prevent what has began to spread to the UK. Currently, around 150 people have died and around 1,100 cases of the Black-Death-like virus as well as bubonic and pneumonic plague have been seen. Originally started within the central area of Madagascar, has reached the coast and the coast of South Africa. The WHO has stepped in with intention of preventing the spread and warning Madagascar officials this could possibly be one of the worst plagues they have experienced in the past 50 years. With help of the WHO they have set up around 9 different centers to treat this plague, and they have also distributed around 1.2 million vaccines. The cases within Madagascar have seen a decline, but since it has reached the Southern coast of Africa it could become airborne which would cause airports to be shut down and probably a state of lockdown in hopes to stop the spread completely by isolating the country. In a country that isn’t as fortunate to be thriving economically or socially, healthcare that is provided by their government could probably have some problems reimbursing the people who have lost family members or have needed care from doctors. As the plague continues, although conditions have been improving in Madagascar, things are starting to spread towards the UK, and it is looking like the symptoms and type of plague could possibly get more severe the longer it lingers within the European and African countries.
