There usually is not much news or action going on in the Sub-Saharan African region of the world. But now there is a bit of news to report on, including the U.S. giving 60 million dollars to Central Africa for the Sahel counter terrorism force to fight on going terrorism in the region. This money is very important because it is reinforcing our allies in making sure terrorism is stopped and that they do not have any safe havens in this region of the world. Also, Rwanda is open to over 30,000 African immigrants from Libya. This move by Rwanda is very important because it gives many helpless and innocent people in Libya a safe place to go and escape all forms of abuse, including being sold openly in slave markets, also just staying safe from accidentally getting killed in all of the fighting going on.
