Prime minister Boris Johnson has asked Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro for help to supply a food product urgently to Britain. Though no product has been named it is possible it could have something to do with the CO2 shortage and surge in prices. President Bolsonaro has agreed to the emergency agreement as he spoke on his webcast earlier this week. Due to the CO2 shortage meat and poultry could also become sparse in Britain in the near future. Though now ministers in the region seem concerned about the fact. Maybe they should though, with Christmas only a few months away, it is possible that the shortage could last that long.

It is good that Bolsonaro has agreed to help with the product. Though it is not yet common knowledge what said product is, it is most likely vital if Prime minister Johnson has to ask for it so urgently. If the CO2 shortage in Britain does cause a shortage for meats and poultry, such a prominent portion in everyday meals. What would that do to the prices. Usually chicken is more on the cheaper side so it is easier for the less wealthy to have access to healthy food. If the prices were to go up it would affect everyone.

The deal between Bolsonaro and Johnson could be a part of global cooperation as free trade as both countries are trying to keep prices low. The article is also connected to the UN as Bolsonaro and Johnson met in New York as they were both at the UN. The United Nations is the biggest IGO in the world. It has it’s toe dipped in every sector that an igo could have it’s toes as an IGO. I know that they were the UN also because it has been sighted that Brazilian President Bolsonaro was infected with coronavirus in New York when he visited the UN last week.
