The Turkic Council has changed its name to Organisation of Turkic States (OTS). The newly renamed council says that it wants to boost trade, as well as security cooperations nationally and internationally. Turkey’s role in this could limit China and Russia’s dependence for Central Asia. Beijing and Moscow would be most affected, as they are the major cities in these two major countries. As for the Turkic Council, the new renaming has been viewed as a sign of unity between Turkey and its states.

This is very important for the well being of Turkey. Turkey has had odd relations with Russia and China for years, and by doing this, they will either strengthen, or weaken the relationship between them and China by hurting them economically and damaging relations. If influence was weakened, this would likely lead to conflict from China and Russia, and a major division between the two and Turkey. For Turkey, this is an excellent way to help themselves prosper and grow the regions they already have.

This relates to liberalism, as Turkey is trying to prosper peacefully. Turkey is looking to benefit their territories and expand their economy, and become a larger influence in Central Asia. China and Russia are more of economic powers than Turkey, but Turkey wants to be involved with liberalism, and become and economic power in Central Asia and Europe, as Turkey is considered a country that is a part of two continents.
