As of this year, roughly 20,000 Congolese nationals have been deported this year due to coronavirus concerns, where most were imprisoned or undocumented citizens being forced back into their home country. They also deported Congolese working in mining sectors unrelated to Covid. The humanitarian crisis begins when they first cross the border, where domestic conflict between the territories of Demba in Kasai central and Mweka in Kasai in the Southern Democratic Republic of Congo . These violent skirmishes themselves have created 25,000 internally displaced peoples along with those returning from Angola, where the deported attempt to re enter Angola. The cause of conflict is due to the fact of no involvement of DRC authorities.

The article tells of humanitarian groups being involved, but it does not state which ones, but includes references of people from the EU. The potential collaboration of IGO integration meddling with Angolan and DNC affairs could pressure the DRC into acting upon their domestic issues and lack of humanitarian support. The Red Cross should go to the DNC and help organize the displaced nationals that have no home and help them on a domestic level, like they did in Rwanda. This article is about interstate issues between Angola and the DRC, where the DRC is more of the center of attention. There are questions about the reasons Angola is hiding their true intentions of deporting DRC nationals, but they are shadowed by the fact the DRC is fueling a humanitarian crisis that will only get worse if not put out. DRC leaders should be held responsible for not acting on the domestics issues occuring in their country and Angola officials for deportation without proper cause.
