Mexico moves to create world’s largest legal cannabis market

Mexico is looking to cut down on crime by making crime legal. Looking to make the largest national cannabis market, Mexico has started making reforms related to the use of cannabis. Businesses would be able to cultivate cannabis for medical reasons and sell it where ever they are able to legally. This is a big push for drug cartels because they don’t even have to hide what they are doing anymore and can just sell everything legally (is what they want you to think). The US and Canada are also interested in the deal, but want the final regulations to be developed. If the Americas can come up with a deal or add it to existing ones like NAFTA or free trade agreements that are made, then this legalization could boost the economy of all countries and lower the crime rate. More laws need to be set in stone regarding illegal substances, and the countries that are part of this market are going to have to diplomatically agree on similar ideals or else it might fall through. I am not knowledgeable about other countries beliefs about cannabis, but if they are truly making a world market, then the UN or other countries might have to make extensive law regarding it.
